This week as part of our MMM Reads Series, Sharon reviews Code Breaker by Marc McMenamin.

“Ireland is to the commander in chief of the Luftwaffe (Hermann Goring) as his base for attacks on the north – west ports of Britain, although weather conditions must be investigated. The occupation of Ireland might lead to the end of the war” Adolf Hitler Wehrmacht situation conference 3 December 1940.

I have been so looking forward to reading this book for quite a while now, and no better time to delve into this book than this week which commemorates World War 2. The book itself is about the Director of the National Library of Ireland “Robert Hayes”. He was a Polymath and Cryptographer and was drafted by Irish Intelligence Services to break coded messages by a Nazi spy in Ireland.

Irelands hidden secrets come alive in this book which will shock and amaze you.
