En Vogue: Fashionable Irish Women from the 15th to the 17th Century
This Culture Night, the Medieval Mile Museum will host En Vogue: Fashionable Irish Women from the 15th to the 17th Century, an evening exploring how clothing reflected identity, status and social change in Ireland.
Fashion historian Laura Fitzachary will examine the styles worn by Irish women across the fifteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, showing how dress could reveal wealth, cultural influence and a person’s place in society.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to contribute to Brigid’s Cloak of Dreams, an ongoing community project. Participants can create a square to add to the cloak, bringing together heritage, craft and community participation.
The event forms part of Culture Night 2026 and is free to attend.
