In Caelo Chamber Choir & The Portmarnock Singers in Concert
Music lovers are in for a special treat this March as In Caelo Chamber Choir welcomes The Portmarnock Singers to Kilkenny for a joint choral concert in the beautiful surroundings of the Medieval Mile Museum.
This unique collaboration will bring together two accomplished choirs for an evening of favourite choral works, old and new, spanning a variety of musical styles and traditions.
Set within the historic atmosphere of Medieval Mile Museum in St Mary’s Church, the concert promises a memorable musical experience in one of Kilkenny’s most distinctive venues.

About In Caelo Chamber Choir
In Caelo is a chamber choir based in Inistioge, County Kilkenny. The group currently comprises thirteen singers, primarily from the local area, with a few members joining from further afield.
Their repertoire spans both sacred and secular music, ranging from composers such as Palestrina, Tallis, Mozart and Handel to contemporary voices including John Rutter and Arvo Pärt, alongside traditional spirituals and lighter pieces such as The Way You Look Tonight.
They have performed at festivals and competitions, winning awards in Kilkenny and Tipperary. They have also appeared on RTÉ Radio and regularly perform in concerts throughout Kilkenny, Wexford, Tipperary, and beyond.
About The Portmarnock Singers
Founded in 1976, The Portmarnock Singers is a long-established mixed-voice community choir based in Portmarnock, North County Dublin. The choir was formed to promote choral music, friendship and charitable fundraising.
They perform a wide-ranging repertoire and are known for their commitment to musical excellence, community engagement and supporting charitable causes through performance.
