“In Past Times”… Antique Toy Exhibition

A temporary exhibition, crowd sourced from the local community, this exhibition will be at the Medieval Mile Museum from November 30th until January 31st. Dinkies, dolls and games are all featured – what a great opportunity to walk down memory lane and show your kids what their mums, dads and grandparents played with.

Price: Entry only €5 with kids under 12 going free.

St.Canices Cathedral Choir

Join us at the Museum on Friday December 6th as we kick off the Festive Season with St. Canices Choir! A portion of the proceeds from the event will be going to the development of the Choir.

‘Ye Olde Christmas’ is a programme of ancient carols from around the world. St. Canice’s Cathedral Choir will take you on a journey through the history of vocal music associated with the Nativity spanning over eleven centuries. The carefully curated programme will present a variety of solo and polyphonic choral repertoire. Experience Christmas from a different angle this year in the company of St. Canices Choir.

High Hopes & The Carlow Ukulele Players 

Come along and experience a joyful festive evening of music and fun at the Medieval Mile Museum with the amazing High Hopes Choir, and the Carlow Ukulele Players. The MC on the night will be Patricia Hutton of the Carlow Ukulele Players, and the proceeds are going to the High Hopes Choir.

Cairdeas – The Kilkenny Parkinson’s Choir

Cairdeas: Kilkenny Parkinson’s Choir is on a mission to uplift and enhance the lives of people with Parkinson’s, their families and friends. We are delighted to host Cairdeas at the museum for a very special evening on Thursday 12th December.

Architecture of Sound

DJ Eddie Galavan and special guests will deliver an immersive sound experience at the Medieval Mile Museum this December. Responding to the unique architecture of the 13th century building, the audio will combine modern electro with medieval instrumentation creating an engaging and rich soundscape experienced by guests through individual headphones.
